SGI-SA Cultural Centre in Johannesburg
The SGI-SA Cultural Centre is located at Fearnhead Park, corner of Wells Avenue and Blandford Road, Parkview, Johannesburg. There are no centres in Durban or Cape Town.
Please note: The Johannesburg cultural centre is only open for meetings a few times a month, and cannot receive visitors without prior notice.
For visiting SGI members from overseas
Below we outline how we help SGI members get in touch with each other, based on our experience of the best, most respectful way to make introductions between people who do not know each other and may come from widely differing circumstances.
Letters of introduction (please read this) for travelling members are a standard courtesy in the SGI around the world, and we do request such letters before passing on contact details.

To contact members or find details of meetings in South Africa, please first get a letter of introduction from your home SGI organisation. Email or fax the letter of introduction to us, including your anticipated contact details when in South Africa, if known. We will pass your contact details to local leaders, in Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban, and they will then call or email you with details of meetings.
How to contact members in other African countries
Please first get a letter of introduction from your home SGI organisation. Either send this directly to SGI with your request for African contacts, or we in SGI South Africa can forward it to SGI on your behalf. If there are members in that country, SGI contacts the members in the country you are visiting or moving to. The members in that country will then contact you with details of meetings.
We understand this may all seem a bit fussy, but we do very much wish to assist you. Thank you for your patience and understanding. SGI-SA has no full-time staff and your email is answered by volunteers.
(If you have problems with the form, please send an email to: contact *at* sgi-sa.org.za.)
