SGI members from overseas visiting South Africa

Please first get a letter of introduction from your home organisation, then write to us and send it using the form below. Please also let us know the area that you will be visiting. We will then pass on your details to local members for them to contact you. Ideally, we need a week’s notice of such visits.

Contacting SGI members in other African countries

NB: We are not an official conduit for these enquiries, and we suggest that you first make these enquiries via SGI leaders in your own country.

We do our best to facilitate these contacts when possible. We do not always have up-to-date information about where in Africa there are SGI members. If you have exhausted other avenues of enquiry, please email us your letter of introduction and we will assist if we can by liaising with SGI on your behalf. Though we do very much wish to help, this process may sometimes take two to three weeks, and we suggest you contact us at least a month before traveling.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please bear in mind SGI-SA has no full-time staff and your email is answered by volunteers.
